Ok, to start things off, this is my first time making a PC ...so please, when you answer try to make it as simple as possible, help me understand! My budget is 1,200$ (Both PC + Monitor + Extras)
I'm looking forward to play decent games at a good fps rate, my Mac is getting a little slow and can't run any games above 80 fps at the lowest possible resolution. I plan on playing CS:GO, Rocket League, and maybe some GTA V. I'm sure I can run these games at 1080p and over 60 fps, but you can never be too sure in new waters. Here are the specs:

*Note: I copy and pasted these from amazon, I'm not sure what information is useful and which isn't, so I'm sorry if it looks messy in any way.*

- CPU Intel Core BX80646I74790K i7-4790K Processor (8M Cache, up to 4.40 GHz) ($355)
- Optimal Drive: Asus 24x DVD-RW Serial-ATA Internal OEM Optical Drive DRW-24B1ST (Black) ($20)
-Power Supply: EVGA 500 B1 80+ BRONZE, 500W Continuous Power, 100-B1-0500-KR ($45)
-Case: BitFenix Computer Case Black/Blue (60$)
-Graphics Card: Gigabyte GTX 960 Overclocked 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Cards GV-N960WF2OC-2GD ($200)
-Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda ES 1 TB 7200RPM SATA 3Gb/s 32 MB Cache 3.5 Inch Internal Hard Drive ST31000340NS-Bare Drive ($47)
- Memory Cards: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB Kit (4GBx2) DDR3 1600 (PC3-12800) 240-Pin UDIMM Memory BLS2KIT4G3D1609DS1S00/BLS2CP4G3D1609DS1S00 ($44)
-MotherBoard: ASRock Z97 Anniversary LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard ($105)

Extras:
Windows 8.1 DVD 64 bit (95$)
Azio Backlit Mechanical Keyboard (80$)
DELL S S2340L 23-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor ($150)

Overall it adds up to a whopping $1,179. My budget is no higher than $1,200. I don't want to overkill in my first pc.

Any suggestions would be amazing, thank you in advance for suggestions, would really help!

Solution
Thanks! Just a few questions:

1. What is the big difference between an Intel Core i7 and a i5?
2. Will the pc you give me fit in a BitFenix Neos case? I prefer this design over the Cooler Master N2000. Does the case make a difference?
3. Do you by any chance have a rough estimate of how much fps this pc will run in CSGO at maximum gameplay?
4. How long will this PC survive for?

Really appreciate the feedback, helps me out a lot!
