Beginner homebuild gaming rig Help wanted

Hey I just want to check if this system works out well? I think I have got everything and I tried to do as much research as possible to make sure this was a fitting build for gaming. I am capped on my budget with this so recommendations will have to be cheaper. Appreciate any and all help.

I will not be overclocking or running two GPU's or doing insane gaming. Just for a good lasting gaming rig. (Mainly grabbing this up for a killer Diablo 3 experience - potentially the new deus ex...etc. )

You will find better performance from the Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB 7200 at $60. If you're not overclocking, the stock heatsink will be fine. If no overclocking ever, it is safe to drop down to a i5 2400 and a H61/H67 motherboard. Otherwise everything looks good. You should only spend $20 on your dvd burner. The Lite-On iHAS124-04 or Sony Optiarc are $20 with free shipping. One of my opinion is that you should spend less on the motherboard. You can find a P68 for around $135 or a good Z68 for $150. You're pretty much buying lots of flash without considering any usage of them. Up to you though.

Yeah I have done a bit more research and realized that I don't even really need to go for the i5 but can do just as well with the amd phenom ii x4 975be - since I won't be overclocking... ever. The only reason I went for the i5 2500k was after reading people raving about how good it was. I was not aware that it is only beneficial in price if overclocked. I then built my system around recommendations for the i5 2500k and thus I came up with this "OTT" build. So question now is the 975be or the i5 2400? There is quite a price gap between the two. I will go with the two GB 6950 still regardless (as I believe your GPU can never be too much).
