hi! can anyone help me or post a link of a complete "instruction" on how to overclock a cpu. it's an intel i7 5820k running on msi x99s sli plus.
i was told overclocking nowadays is easy but i'm still lost and i have zero experience in OC'ng. it would be much better if these guides would have pictorial guides and not just "change this, change that..." guide.
also one question: is OC'ng the cpu changes the base clock or is it the turbo speed of intel?
for example, the 5820k has a base clock of 3.3ghz and turbo to 3.6ghz. does OC'ng it just increases the turbo or the base?
