Hi

i have purchased a silicon graphics monitor model number 9330812 (mitsubishi HL7965KW-SG) According to mitsubishi, SGI and the monitorworld.com database, this is a multifrequency Csync-on-green monitor. however, the computer store near me (who happens to be an authorised mitsubishi service center) assures me that this is in fact a multi-sync monitor, so i took it apart, and sure enough i found R,G,B, HD, and VD terminals on the board the inpuit board connects to, but they dont appear to be actually connected to anything. i appears they need some SMD resistors to enable them. i have read a couple of articles where people have modifies these monitors to run on a PC, but the information they have given me is contradicting.

i have considered purchasing a sync adapter, but they're not even heard of in this country, i can make my own, but i still need a 13w3 - HD15 cable with SGI pin assignments (no one in my area sells these, SGI want $200AUD for them)

do you know anywhere in australia that sells these cables, preferably with a sync adapter?

P.S i only paid $5AUD for it so if i have to pay $100 to get a cable, i dont really care as long as it works
