So i want a at 2035 mic and the Behringer Xenyx Q502USB but do i need a xlr cable aswell?

Yes, the AT2035 runs on the XLR interface.

Since this is a relatively basic use, you dont need to go fancy with the XLR:

With XLR cables you get what you pay for. Cheaper cables can show up damaged or have interference, but its worth trying the cheaper one and having to return it if you have to.

DMX cables are wired for lighting, they would work for a microphone, but they would not provide great sound quality. You should use a standard XLR cable opposed to DMX.

If budget is an issue, you could get the AT2025 XLR.

Since you are using a mixer that would presumably be on a desk, 1m should be plenty.
