Question Belkin Bluetooth

I have connected an old Belkin Bluetooth (US-EDR ADAPTER CLASS2V2.1 UHE) to my Dell optiplex 3020 running windows 10 professional. Will it function properly or will I face issues because of it being an older version. I would like to know if I will be able to send and receive small size files to and fro from my desktop by using this bluetooth.

The drivers meant for that device should be automatically downloaded. It should be working fine. If you see it's causing issues, might want to source drivers from this with driver version 6.5.1.4800 and install in compatibility mode, i.e Right click installer>Compatibility tab>Windows 7(drop down menu).

the only thing is that version 2.1 is slow:
3Mbit/s max. (375kB/s)

which is about 20 seconds per foto

I can receive files from Desktop to mobile phone but I cannot send files (photos) from mobile to Desktop computer via bluetooth. Kindly help.
