Im trying to setup my wireless router I've had for a while to have a password. It has been unsecured since I've had it.I have the manual but not the install wizard.I tried probably a hundred times but cant seen to get it right. The model is F5D7230-4.I called the support number but they dont offer complimentary help anymore. The router works excellent but I just cant get the security password to setup.I reset it a few times and tried and tried with user manual directions but I must be stupid or something is wrong. Please help.Thanks.

Go to the router wireless settings and select a security type (WPA WEP etc.). Then the box where the password is entered should be enabled. All you need to do is enter the desired password and save settings.
After doing so all users will be disconnected and require to enter the password to connect.
