I have a Zotac GTX 1060 3gb AMP Core edition with a firestrike graphic score of 11.800-12000
Aint particularly bad, but im one of the lowest in my tier
I've seen people with 12500 - 14000 score, granted they're overclocking their GPU to an extend. But here's the problem, my firestrike always crashed if i overclocked it. Mind you this is a tame overclock of +100 core and +200 memory, with a total of 2025mhz on core and 4050 on memory. but firestrike crashes everytime, espescially during the 2nd graphic test.
( did'nt even touch the core voltage )
I've tried overclocking with Valley and Furmark and it turned out okay
With 10 minutes on furmark my GPU never even reached 70c with +110 core and +250 memory. The crash seem to only happen with firestrike. So im stuck with my 1860 - 1930mhz stock boost clock and i have never reached more than 12050 on my graphic score.
I've seen a guy with almost the same exact GPU, CPU, RAM and even the same OS got 10% more on their overall score, even the clockspeed of both the GPU and CPU are the same as mine, but yield different results, granted he's using an SSD and a perhaps a better Motherboard which i dont know if that has any effects on the result .
so can anyone tell whether there's something wrong with my system or did i just simply lost the silicon lottery?
My PC:
Gtx 1060 3gb
i5 4690 3,5ghz
8 gb of ram
Enermax NAXN 500w PSU
Win7 64bit
Overall firestrike score: 9050 (https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/26739369)
Sorry for the broken english too
