Question Benchmarked new build, everything is as it should be, excluding RAM

Hey guys,

Recently put together a new ryzen 3700x build with an ASUS prime x570 pro motherboard and a gtx 1080ti. For RAM, I decided to go with the Corsair Vengeance RGB 3200 at 16 cl. They are installed correctly in A2 and B2 and the XMP profile has been enabled, also dual channel is enabled. Still according to https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/18822675
the RAM is underperforming quite a bit, 31th percentile. I tested the RAM through windows memory check and nothing was found. Any solutions? Thinking of RMA'ing them now it's still in the 30 day period.

Have you checked for any BIOS updates for your motherboard?

User Benchmark is not best one out there and most benchmarking sites and SW are still not entirely compatible with 3rd gen Ryzen.
Geek bench https://www.geekbench.com/ is only one that can load RAM properly and give valid results. Also try https://www.passmark.com/products/performancetest/

User benchmark is absolutely useless garbage. Don’t ever use or trust it. Test your memory with Memtest86

Have you checked for any BIOS updates for your motherboard?

If I uderstand correctly the x570 Motherboards are the ones who did not need a bios update. I think that's for 470 or lower

Memory mark: 2715 score, where the model average is 2843. Percentile is 88%.

Any thoughts?

Results come from thousands of different users and is an average of which most could be too low or too high and testing is also questionable.

All motherboards have BIOS updates throughout their lifespan. There was an update released a couple weeks ago for your motherboard. https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/PRIME-X570-PRO/HelpDesk_BIOS/

8700K @5.1Ghz 101% Performs above the expected 85th %
2080 ti stock 185% performs 15% under expectetations
960 Evo NVMe 221% performs as expected
ram 3200Mhz cl14 93.5% Performs bellow potential by 26%

This was the right answer btw... I upgraded my bios for the 5900x and low and behold, the ram functions normally
