Benchmarking with ut2004demo?

I read the faq about benchmarking ut2k4, but there isnt even a demo-folder
on the demo? Is it possible to benchmark with the demo somehow?
btw, im running linux

The reason there isn't a demo folder is because you haven't created a
demo yet. Probably on oversight on Epic's part. If you already have
a demo, just create a directory called "Demos" in the root of your
UT2004 directory and place the demo there.

Once you have a demo, run it with the 'demoplay nameofdemo?timedemo'
command and you'll get your average FPS in the console.

IIRC all you can do is 'stat fps'.
