Question Bend cpu cooler

i got thermalright cpu cooler that has some damaged fins, i straightened them but they are not perfect as they should be, will it affect the thermals?

That's quite a severe bend. What did you do? Drop it on the ground?

In any event, IF the heat pipe inside it is intact, those bent fins won't hinder the CPU cooler cooling capacity that much. But it will hinder the airflow through the tower (which in turn, has some effect on cooling performance). But not much. I'd say ~5% of overall capacity or so.

i got that from aliexpress shipment, heat pipe seems to be fine.

If and only if the pipes are fine, that level of fin bending would not impact any cooling.

But....I would absolutely NOT accept this as a device sold as "new". Your options for a return/refund via AliE, however, may be limited.

the package is new but got damaged during transportation, i will open dispute.

Oh, its a "choice" category, so the only way is to send it back to china ( it says free returns only label needs to be created)
