Hi there. I have a custom loop in this order

  1. D5 pump/res
  2. 120mm rad/fan
  3. GPU blocked 3090
  4. 360mm exhaust rad/an
  5. CPU blocked 11700k
  6. 280mm front intake rad/fan
My ambient temp is 26C, my coolant maxes at 40C under stock clock game loads.

I was thinking adding an external radiator 360mm 6mm exhaust right before the GPU.

So the order would be

  1. D5 pump/res
  2. 120mm 45mm intake rad/fan
  3. 360mm 60mm external exhaust rad/fan
  4. GPU blocked 3090
  5. 360mm 45mm exhaust rad/an
  6. CPU blocked 11700k
  7. 280mm 45mm front intake rad/fan
Is this just overkill? I'm trying to get temps as low as possible. Thanks

Whatever you do you'd never reach ambient temps and stay to about 10c above them.
