Benefit of more RAM?

How big of a difference does it make While Streaming and recording Minecraft, dayz, arma III, BF4, and RUST?

It mostly depends on the speed of the RAM and how full it is. But more RAM is always better, especially for those purposes.

Most games won't use more than 8GB of RAM. 16GB won't be utilized a whole lot in today's world (there are programs like photoshop that do use more than 8GB) - but tomorrow is a new day....and another game will be released....IMO - you can't have "too much RAM".....

I was thinking of dedicating 8GB of RAM TO minecraft

I have several computers that have more than 8GB of RAM (8GB is standard memory size in my builds) - one does Adobe CS6 and Microsoft .NET programming and one does Virtual Machines for testing different operating systems. I do not use any of my builds for gaming (that is why I bought an XBox).....

DRAM requirements continue to rise in apps and games, just 2 years ago people were sayinging 4GB is all you'll EVER need, a couple or so years before that they said same about 2GB, and 8has been the semi-standard now for about a year, 16GB is about the minimum I go on client builds
