Benefits of buying 1070 rather 980 ti.

Pros and cons of 1070 to 980 ti? I see that 980 ti recently dropped its price. I will be playing 1080p 144hz only.

1070 perform much better but it depends on the price. If you game new titles then 1070 is the way but 980ti could be enough

The 1070 is faster by about 5fps than the 980 ti.

It will play anything like a dream, although 144fps may be. a stretch for some games. Stuff like CSGO, BF4 should play pretty smoothly at a very high fps. Although don't expect to play stuff like BF1 at that fps.

Both of those cards should do you very well though

Only for cs go then any gpu will do. I am using a GTx 760 and it always goes above 100fps
