Benifits on 4k monitros rather then 5870x1080p

Is it worth buying a 4k monitor rather then eyefinity setup?

well eyefinity or nvidia surround, do suffer a bit sometimes from trying to keep 3 monitors in sync. then you almost have bezels in the middle. Also, you end up with a very wide long screen if you do 3x1 across rather than just 1 monitor, no bezels, keeps a 16x9 ratio rather than 48x9 basically. Some games don't work with surround/eyefinity, so then you are limited to the 1 center monitor.
