I do very light gaming but I do a more research than anything, multitasking, excel worksheets and webpages which is why I'd like a dual monitor setup but right now I am using my 46" Samsung flatscreen as a monitor and it's not that I dont like it it's really that I want to build a real desk and have a monitor or two...

I was looking on Amazon and found a monitor i like by BenQ that seemed reasonable in price, performance and size and wanted to get your (the tek community) feedback if this would be the best bang for my buck or if you have another suggestion I would love to hear it. I am tight on my budget so I am trying to stay under 200 dollars.

BenQ RL2455HM 24-Inch LED Console Gaming Monitor

*1 ms GTG response time, 1080p resolution, 75 Hz Refresh Rate

I am probably just gonna get one screen and then in a couple months get another, for now they will be resting on my desk however I like that it has the holes in the back for a dual monitor mount later down the line.

I tend to warn people about my bad experiences with benq, have 6 of them in a lab setting and no two have the same color out of the box (means dual monitor will look strange), and two of them have backlight issues after 6mo. And these are their "high end" models...

If you want a decent game worthy monitor for that price, Asus is probably your best bet, their VH line is cheap, IPS, and not bad looking to boot.

Man that comment about having issues with the color out of the box is pretty concerning.... Pretty sure I am going to be using one for at least a couple months to a few months till im able to get the second one but I would hate to experience such a thing ......

And thank you DelroyMonjo for that recommendation it looks like a great monitor but I need to stay within the 200 dollar range for now... I could bare spending 2 bills on a monitor or two each but close to 3 is a little out of my budget
