Hi, im using the monitor shown in the tittle, i bought the monitor used and it works amazing (using dvi cable) i switched to it from a 60hz monitor and i was blown away by the difference, i still cant belive how much i missed out the last 6 years...now to the problem it came with pretty bad colors and its first time when i actually change the colors, i know that its a TN panel and its not supposed to look good but by changing the settings trying to make it look good i might have oversaturated or used too much gamma, in case wondering what settings i use here:
--------
FROM NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL:
brightness - 40%
contrast - 75%
gamma - 1.00
digital vibrance - 80%
hue - 0
--------
FROM MONITOR:
blur reduction - off (im still not sure if its worth turning on as it makes the screen kinda dark)
brightness - 75%
contrast - 80%
low blue light - 10/10
color temperature - *user mode* r 96 g 96 b 100
reset color - no
ama - premium
instant mode - on *idk what does but sounds good*
sharpness - 10/10
gamma - gamma 5 *this is the only one that doesnt look washed*

it took around 2h to find these settings alone, i did some research what they do and it looks fine but there are so many settings and i feel like i did something wrong, i just wanted to get the most of my monitor even though its a TN panel, if any of you have a icc profile (i think that's what its called) or any suggestions on changing things ill most likely respond back in under 12h (busy with school)
thanks for taking the time to read :)

Solution
Picture Mode Standard
Brightness 71
Contrast 43
Color Temp User Red 100, Green 98, Blue 96

Other settings like Low Blue Light, Sharpness, and Dynamic Contrast should be left at their defaults for best results.

I got the values from the Tom's write up. The color temp will depend on what you like, more red for warmth or more blue for cooler.

im looking specially into finding a good color temperature for my monitor, i noticed how it changes the color when turning it very low but i dont know what i should choose everyone says different things, someone told me 96 someone else said 98 some even said 92 im so confused about that one

Solution

i changed 96 98 100 and the others as before, i like high contrast and rich colors so after searching more tbh the settings that i found alone might actually be the best for what i prefer, tho the sharpness i might play more with i feel like in some things its too sharp and you can see the pixelated edges but when i look to the gun in a first person shooter it kinda looks better on max for all the details, beside that i think everything is fine as it is now, thanks for help again bro 😀
