So I just finished installing my second nvidia gtx 770 and enabled SLI. I've installed drivers for both fresh, no problems there. The one that does seem to be having problems is my monitor. In 5 minute intervals it flicks off to black then back to normal after 4-5 seconds. During gameplay, BF4, Titanfall, Witcher 2, she starts doing the same but in quicker intervals until it goes black for good with an "out of range" notice. Now I never had this problem until today. So I'm a little more than suspicious that it has to do with the second card. I've already tried messing with the hz settings in the nvidia control panel but nothing changed. I'm not too knowledgeable in this area, being my first build and all. Was hoping yall could point me in the right direction.

Here's my full build:

-Intel Core i5-4670 Haswell Quad-Core 3.4GHz LGA 1150 84W

-CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

-CORSAIR HX Series HX850 850W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD

-ASUS Z87-PLUS LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

- x2 MSI Gaming N770 TF 2GD5/OC G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card.

-Enermax ETS-T40-BK Black 120mm Twister CPU Cooler

-SanDisk Ultra Plus SDSSDHP-256G-G25 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

-Seagate Constellation ES.3 ST1000NM0033 1TB 7200 RPM 128MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Enterprise Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Solution
I would try a new cable for connecting the monitor. Also, try the monitor on another PC and see if the flickers persist or go away.

GPU temps?

Software issue? To test, you can make the splash screen freeze or be extremely long (more than 5 minutes) to test it. If it blinks, then it is a BIOS or monitor problem. If no then it is a issue with software.

You completely neglected to tell us WHICH Benq monitor you have.
Gsync support? the only Benq that supports Gsync is the XL2420G, in Gsync mode (a hardware toggle on the back switches between the gsync and Z scalers).

Sorry fellas, seems it was just a bad hdmi cable as odd as that is. Everything is smooth as butter now. I'll write this up as solved. Thanks for the input though.
