BenQ monitor, no sound.

Recently I bought a new BenQ XL2430T and every thing has go fine still the sound I did try many options to solve it but nothing helped.

Did you use an HDMI or DP cable?

I used both of them but DP didn't work at all in the other side HDMI just screen on but no sound.

Did you install the videocard drivers?

I do not have CD player so that i couldn't put the CD on. I tried to download form google but I do not think that is was correct file.

What videocard do you have or if its onboard what is it??

That's whats on the videocard. You have to find out, what the brand/model of the videocard is that it's on.

So you can find the right driver for it

Open the case and look at it if it's a desktop
