Just wanted to quickly drop this because I really didn't find anything using these tags.
Connecting my TV Box to my benq (XL2411Z) resulted in a black screen. However, turning off the box displayed "no signal detected" which means that there WAS a signal, even though it wasn't displayed / it was displayed as a black screen. I tried to enable the Automatic HDMI Switch, unplugging another DVI connector and also made sure the box is working by connecting it to my TV (which worked immediately).
The actual fix was to temporarily disable Motion Blur Reduction. I didn't guess that the first time because of what I read about it I thought that it would work with every other device as well (not only my computer). Restarting the TV Box finally resulted in having a picture.
This might work for ASUS Light Boost as well (not tested), if you have a display problem but you're absolutely sure that everything is intact (working console, HDMI ports monitor etc.) try to temporarily disable it.
