Hey guys, I was going to go buy the XL2420T here in Australia this week, however they JUST discontinued it due to the XL2411T being sold predominantly now. However, I was going to purchase the XL2411T next week, but I just hear that the XL2420TE is out and it will be arriving in Australia (pccasegear) towards the end of August.

Now my question is, should I just pick up the XL2411T now, or wait just under two months for the XL2420TE? Just thinking if the wait will be worth it, and my guesstimate is that the price will still be around the same as the XL2411T.

Share your opinions below on this topic, I would love to hear what you guys have to say. (I'm guessing this is the right area to post this) 😀

Omg, talk about people failing to answer your question!

The BenQ XL2420TE is quite an improvement over the XL2420T because it has the following benefits:

Improved input lag from around 5ms to 2ms~
Flickerfree technology
144hz capable

So essentially its the same as the 2411T but with the same design as the 2420T.

So it comes down to wether or not you like the look of the 2420T over the 2411T or if you need the S-Switch for easily switching profiles.

If you choose to get a 2411T make sure you get one with a manufacturing date of after DEC 2012 to make sure you get the revision that includes the flickerfree technology.

PS: The ASUS VG248QE is faster than the 2420T yes but it is NOT faster than the 2411T or the 2420TE both in terms of...
I generally recommend quality over speed (i.e. avoiding TN film panels!) but if you want the maximum speed, ASUS does it better:

The 24" equivalent would be the VG248QE.

If you read my post you'd understand why I'm not getting the XL2420T... They aren't stocking them anymore here in Australia..

If you want a high refresh rate 144hz than that would be the only thing making the difference between two models if you really don't care about that I woul go for the xl2420t
