Hello everyone

Hello

I just got my Benq xl2411z monitor, but it doesn't turn on.
I've followed the instructions and connected the power cord.
Now when I press the power button, nothing happens.
I had a xl2411z before, but I sent it back because of a dead pixel.
Now this new monitor doesn't show anything at all.

Things I've tried:
Other socket in wall
Other power cord
Turning electricity on and off

Does anyone know a solution for this problem, or some things I could try?

Thanks in advance

John Sebastian

dang.. cant help you there .. I just found out that guy I linked above is also over the pond ..

all I can say is something like a display is something I don't mail order cause if something was to be wrong it that your there and they are wayyyy over there not in town to drop in on them in person face to face to take care of it right away that day ..

all you now can do is the best you can and hope for the best and when you ship it back they don't claim you did the damage and tell you too bad so sad in a nice e-mail and back charge you all the costs plus reshipping it back to you still broke .
this guy was not happy with his ben-q

and heres the advice I give on that '' - this is a part or item I would not mail order unless its to / through a local store like my last one through my local Wal-Mart - if it aint no good just let the wife take It in next time she goes to town and exchange/refund or what ever right there in person on the spot ..''

ya, you save a bit of cash with mail order as long as to goes well .. but a display ? cant see it buy local or order through them face to face in person if there a issue not e-mail rma go rounds repacking re shipping the they blame you and don't honor things ,ect....... just walk in the store and take care of it that day .. and let them plug it in wile you watch and see

also you may see the display on and running to look at and play with before you buy it not hope it all goes well through the UPS processing stages of shipping [lol]

don't know ? all you asn do is try what you can like you seemed to of been doing ? seems to me you plug it in hook things up hit the on button and should work ??

noe I guess you to the rma go round on it re ship it back wait another week and hope the next one works as you expect ..

or just go to town and buy one you can see works as you like right in the store and buy it knowing so . last on I ordered was through Wal-Mart with there extra $15 3 year Wal-Mart warrantee was delivered to my local Wal-Mart [next day] I picked it up brought it home and it worked - but if it did not all I had to do is take it back in to the store and refund or exchange it [zip -zap -pow ] less then a hour .

like I say all this your going through is it now worth all that mail ordering to save a little bit ?

as long as they work with you I guess its all good ? thing is I prefer to go in look at them and see it work and how it looks to my eyes and say that's the one - not hope the one I blindly ordered just off printed hype looks good to my eyes and works as expected out of the box , as in I was able to see ,touch, examine then pick the one I liked before I paid for it in a store I real life and time . but that's just me ...

with a display you don't know what you will get until after the fact when you just order it ''blind''

anyway good luck and I hope the next one fits all your needs and works as expected
