Benq XL2411Z help

Hi ,

I have recently bought this monitor but the 144hz gaming feels weird to me, also after about an hour of gaming I got "red eyes", used only 60hz before and wanted to upgrade and bought 144hz but now I think it was maybe a mistake. I need some setting tips for this monitor .
Does anyone have a similar problem?

Perhaps that frequency is just bad for your eyes, probably getting 'vertigo' feeling. Try lowering the refresh rate a bit.

reduce your time spend with your pc.! thats hardly a monitor issue, however benq models come with terrible out of the box calibration. here is a nice review of BenQ XL2420Z monitor with better calibration settings.these also work for your monitor, as they bare the same panel!

With 60hz laptop i spend more time with no issues.

higher refresh rate could only lead in possitive results, as it produces a more stable flicker free image. most probably the bigger display with higher brightness compared with your laptops monitor, produces such negative impact to your eyes!
