My BenQ is not displaying 144hz on Nvidia Control Panel or on the windows settings. I've updated the drivers and nothing's happened yet. I can get 120hz on lower resolutions, but my monitor has been designed for 144hz at 1920x1080. Could it be my GPU? I have a GTX960 and I'm trying to run games like Counter-Strike Global Offensive. I connected a dual link to my monitor from my PC and it's DVI-D. I can only connect the dual link cord to my motherboard and not the gpu. My gpu has 1 DVI-I link and not a DVI-D link. Do I need to get an adapter of some sort? Thanks for the advice.

If anyone else is having this problem, I fixed it. A DVI-D cable can fit in a DVI-I socket. So if you only have DVI-I on your graphics card, put a DVI-D in it and it will fit and work. Make sure you don't put the DVI-D in your motherboard, put it in the DVI-I on your graphics card. It's a pain if you don't know you have to put it there
