benq xl2411z question

Solution
heck if I know I still got great results from my 60hz monitors matter of fact I been using hdtv's speced for pc use for years now my last ''monitor'' was a old crt ... I think in my opinion 144hz is more gimmick then benefit look at all the 144hz only does 60hz stuff around the web

but to each his own on what he feels is best for him ..

http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/all.html?refine=+144hz+60hz

research and decide that's all you can do
I guess you could update it if not ?/
http://www.blurbusters.com/benq-releases-v2-firmware-for-xl2411z-xl2420z-xl2720z/

kinda makes me wonder about the quality of benq monitors anyway??

http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-3008028/decide-benq-vz2250-benq-gw2255hm.html

then here a guy stated tthis ? ''Every monitor that has shipped after march 2015 is guaranteed to have V4 firmware. Benq stated this themselves'

https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/413587-benq-xl2411z-firmware/

then theres this ''Unfortunately, BenQ does not keep the firmware download page up to date' and also said about the v4 thing like the guy above ? ''Currently (mid 2015), monitors are shipped with firmware version 4''

[also see the ''How to call up the service menu '' to pull up that info you asked for on finding the version number]

http://display-corner.epfl.ch/index.php/BenQ_XL2411Z

looks to me benq is a display maybe to avoid ??

So there is no solution to be 100% sure what firmware it has but to go in service menu?
I`m asking because I did not purchased yet...its in the market and the guy said that it`s only rev 00-123
If the benq is not right monitor what are the alternatives ?

I could not find anything ? unless its stated on the label on the box some where in some way ?? [most times it is ]

like how these guys show you how to from off the box ?? [these labels are also on the out side of the box ]

http://www.tp-link.com/en/faq-46.html

seems to me and my opinion if there support is that poor and hard to find and use is something I can do with out and would look at something more straight forward and easy to find, use and see ??, but that's just me

so what you saying, what am I supposed to do ?

???.. I guess if it not what you want you could download and update its firmware ?? contact benq support and have them tell you how ?? to me if I see there support is that poor I guess I would move on to something else that offers straight forward support that's easy to find and use ..

then like I showed above with the few guys with benq helping them some showed me there not a monitor company I would look at anyway ..

I guess you need to make a judgment call on what you feel is best for you .. I'm sure benq is not your only choice in displays

here at newegg Q&A 3 or 4 guys asked what revision they got on theres ??

''Does anyone have a recent purchase from newegg and could tell me what firmware version the monitor is currently on? Jul 15,2015''

''Can anyone confirm if this is shipped with v2 Firmware or should I spend the extra ~$20 and order from the BenQ Shop? Jun 02,2014''

don't know man, looks like your on your own in what you will get and why for a monitor I buy local and see it first hand before I buy it
