[SOLVED] Benq XL2430T Refresh Rate Issue

Hi folks

I'm having trouble getting the fresh rate of my Benq XL2430T monitor to above 60Hz. 60Hz is the only option available to me when using Nvidia control panel. Any thoughts and guidance on what could be preventing me from changing the fresh rate?

My new graphics card, the MSI 3060 TI only has inputs for HDMI, not DisplayPort. To my knowledge, I am using a HDMI 1.4 which should support 144hz. Are there driver settings I might be missing? I did just build this PC.

The monitor's HDMI port is limited to 60 Hz at 1080p.

Doesn't this indicate that the monitor should support HDMI 2.0 at 144hz?

Right click on your desktop, display settings, advanced settings, does it actually list your monitor or just say generic display?

It lists my actual monitor. I did update my drivers for the display since this is the first time it has been used with this computer.
