Just got a new BenQ XL2720z monitor yesterday but it's constantly flickering every minute or so AND every time I turn the monitor off, it won't remember the settings as I changed the Blur reduction to ON, contrast to 43, and RGB to 100, 98, 96. It keeps reverting back to the default settings.

Can anyone help? Or do I have a defective monitor? It's running firmware V005 if that helps.

Thanks in advance!

Turns out Nvidia's new drivers are causing the issue and I always keep them up to date. I read that an owner of an XL2730z had the same issue and he resolved the problem by reverting the driver back to 368.81. That did the trick.
Ok, I figured out the remembering the settings part... The Display Pilot seems to override the actual monitor settings and it defaults to the preset you select in the Display Pilot software which makes total sense.

But the monitor keeps flickering. I have it set at 1080p 144hz. Any ideas/help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
