Hi,
I've been using my monitor for over 6 months now and was working without any issues till now, but since this morning, i noticed that my mouse cursor movement was somewhat sluggish and checked the refresh rate, it was set to 60hz, and i am sure it was set to 144hz last nigt, this was over Display port, after this i switched to HDMI 2.0 and the 144hz option was back, switching back to DP same result at 60hz.. any ideas or advices will be appreciated.

Thanks

Solution
actually... after a bit of googling, seems a number of people have suffered that issue with the same monitor

seems a factory reset has worked for some people. Have you tried that?

1) Power off
2) Hold Button 3 and 4, Power On ( while still holding Button 3 and 4 ), after 5 seconds release it.
3) Click any OSD Buttons, enter Menu and it will display the Factory Settings Menu, navigate it via the OSD Buttons, and like you said CLEAR USER. Monitor resets.
4) Power off monitor, unplug it from the power cord from wall, after about 30 seconds or so

yea.. only 60Hz, nothing else, i dont know whats wrong, it was working perfectly last night, i re-installed nvidia drivers, wiped them with DDU, powered down and disconnected everything, i mean ive tried all the solutions i could find on google.. im stumped here.

Windows and Nvidia CP both locked at 60hz.. ive switched to HDMI for the time being till i resolve this problem, any input will be appreciated.

Solution

I havent done a factory reset, that was the last option as it was a pain calibrating the monitor, default/factory settings are so bad.. ill try it later, and thanks.

Yes, Only 60 hz is available in windows settings and nvidia CP

don't know if you spotted this one

found it on the nvidia forums

Monitor Menu -> System -> Other settings -> Auto Pivot Sensor: "On

didnt work, and factory reset didnt work either, but i can enable 1440p @ 144hz with HDMI 2.0, ill be using that till i resolve this

Hard factory reset did the trick, but steps were different thats why it wasnt working earlier. thanks
