I am greatly considering purchasing the BenQ ZOWIE XL2411P monitor to use for gaming, since I need to return the Acer GN246HL due to 144hz connection issues. I recently upgraded my PC, below are my specs:
Asus Z390 ROG Strix-F
I7-9700K @4.7GHz Overclocked
Vulcan T-Force 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3000MHz RAM
MSI GeForce RTX 2070 Ventus 8192MB PCI-e Graphics Card

The Acer monitor only allowed 144hz via a DL-DVI cable, which was fine on my old GTX 970, but neither the RTX 2070 or Asus motherboard support it. I am worried about whether or not the BenQ ZOWIE Monitor would work since I don't wan't to fork out this much again and have it not work.

According to the page on amazon, it connects via DVI-D and Displayport as it has one of each. If you do not know, displayport are connectors that are becoming standard on all new cards that support up to 1080p 240hz. So it will work with your 2070 and it should come with the displayport cable in the box.
