Question Bent motherboard pins affect performacne?

Hello,

I bought MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon and accidentally bent the pins. I have an i7 6700k and it works fine but I'm wondering whether it could decrease my FPS perhaps or cause lag? Please help I'm worried

I take it we are talking about the CPU pins.

If it works fine I would leave it alone.

You don't want to risk screwing it up.

As far as decreasing your performance....I don't think so. I think most likely that either the pins are contacting or they're not and it sounds like yours are.
