i just ordered a new computer and i was wondering if it was good that my motherboard was bent when it was shipped. It doesn't look like it was damaged, but it has a slight bend on it. The shipping box came without the dent in it, but the motherboard box is bent. My question is will it work?

It could be slightly warped due to heat in the warehouse.

The board should be fine as long as it does not short out on your case. Also, when you install it, the risers for mounting it should straighten it out.

I say go ahead and use it, you should not have any issues.

There are a lot of screws that hold the motherboard down on the MB plate and that should keep it straight. How much of a bend did it have? I would definetly take a picture of the MB box and the MB so that if you had to RMA it you can send in pictures of the box.

ok... but i put it in yesterday and my whole system works fine... fx 4100, 8 gb ddr3 1866 ram, GTX 560 ti 448 cores Evga classified (lucky i bought it when i did cause it is sold out on newegg now), etc.

Thanks for the help
