[SOLVED] Bent usb 3.0 connector pins on mobo

Hey,
so today I tried swapping out my GPU and needed to remove the usb 3.0 connector. Needless to say, I bent two of the pins while doing it and the plastic housing came off.
Now, I don't really care about this usb 3.0, since I have a lot more at the back, but because the pins are bent, I can't put the plastic housing back in. I was thinking of leaving it as it is, but I'm afraid the uncovered pins would short out something.

Can I leave the pins as they are, without putting the plastic housing back in? Or should I put it?

If the pins aren't touching anything....or each other....you can leave them

The pins on a USB 3.0 jack are internal...and they aren't really pins. They are more like flat metal strips. Are we talking about the same thing.

If the pins weren't touching anything or each other before you bent them....and they aren't touching anything or each other now.....you should be fine.
