So we all know that the release of RTX has drastically dropped the prices of used (and even new) graphics cards. However, I am looking for a used gpu (since you can get a good one for an extremely good deal now). I have narrowed it down to 3 choices:
-rx 580 8gb (strix or msi gaming x), I will be using a freesync 144hz monitor (xg2402/mg248qr)
-gtx 1060 6gb, no g-sync however the card performs better than rx 580
-gtx 1070, This is only if i find a killer deal ($230-$250) which is why there is a <20% chance of me buying this
I don't really know the difference between freesync and non freesync, so if the people out there can tell me that'd be great. I have also read that the Green Team's gpus tend to use less power and run much faster, so if (again!) the people who can tell me if having the faster card is (at the expense of cost) better, that would also be great.
