Best 1080p 144hz Gsync Monitor

Im currently in the market for a 1080p 144hz Gsync monitor that i would use primarily for gaming. I play FPS games mostly America's Army Proving ground. I am looking to spend at max $370 with california sales tax included. What are your recommendations?

Preferable size is 24inches, but i can go as high as 27. Not ultra widescreen please

Asus VG248QE or the BenQ equivalent (2411z ?) in Europe.

17" is too big for 1080p. PPI is well below 90 which makes the picture look grainy to those with normal vision at typical viewing distances.
