My preferable price would beore around $150. I will be using it for everyday use, I really just want a sharp display with accurate colors.

Well the refresh rate will be 60Mhz. That's pretty standard, don't settle for less. There have been about four models of monitors recommended to you, take a look at them and make your decision.

Dell 2414H is a good one too, but most panels in this price range are pretty much the same(Acer, Dell).

I can't really agree with that, I don't have much faith in Acer's brand, I always think of them as a budget brand.

lol, for quite some time I had the feeling that Acer isn't a real company lol.

Yeah, Acer products usually are nonsence, but the H6 monitor is a good one for the price(keyword here is price).
There was a good article on it, I can't seem to find it now.
