best 1440p gsync

im looking for a nice 1440p gsync monitor preferably ultra wide but doesnt have to be, and im not trying to pay 1400 dollars for an acer x34 or whatever its called 🙁

So in english? what is the gist of IPS? lol. And i have a nice samsung lcd 1080 monitor so looking to get something that i would notice as a significant upgrade.

IPS makes the colors look much better and you get better viewing angles. For someone editing photographs for a living an IPS panel would be pretty much mandatory. For gaming it's not as big a deal but most people who buy them swear by them. If you are not that picky a regular panel would be fine and they cost less. It would be good if you went to best buy or somewhere like that and saw both types so you could make a better decision. After all it's a lot of money either way.

Yeah, well thanks. Are those the only two I should consider? I really want an ultra wide but I suppose ill have to save up some money for one, it might not even fit on my desk so I guess Ill go with one of the ones you linked. Its hard to fine a good monitor a lot have reviews that seem to bother me. And I know dont listen to everyone but when Im spending a lot of money I hinge on each review

Those are 2 of the best available right now. I looked at ultrawides and they are way expensive for g-sync 1440p.

Still a good idea to visit a local store and see for yourself how an IPS panel looks compared to a standard one.

any suggestion on which brand is the best to go with Asus or Acer? Ive only had this samsung monitor and never had an issue with it.

I own an Asus and it's been the best for me so far and I've been buying a new monitor every 3-4 years since 1995. The new Acer's get good reviews so you have to consider them. First decide what type of panel you want then you can shop for brands.
