Which size is the best monitor ?

I am about to buy MSI curverd 27 inch 1440p monitor with 165hz 1500r. The issue is that monitor is very limited and is almost out of stock. One of tbe computer shop guy told me to buy a Samsung G5 with 1000r curve and 144hz refresh rate which is bit different. I dont want to go for a bigger curved monitor because i don't know how much the curve 1000r curve and 1500 curve will be. And the MSI monitor is giving much more refresh rate than samsung G5. So can anyone please tell me what will be the difference that i am gonna see if i buy MSI monitor or G5? Because i haven't seen any on these monitors anywhere physically and PC stores are limited here and they don't stock monitors as show pieces.

I would go Oled at this point. 27" 1440p runs in the $800 range. You won't see much of a difference between modern lcd monitors compared to Oled. You will see a huge difference with oled. Oled refresh rate is limited by the input card and not the screen, so you won't have the same issue with lcd refresh requiring a higher refresh.

umm, no 27" 1440p can be had for less than $200.

can someone explain the point of a curved monitor that is desktop size?

i understand the use and maybe the NEED for one in imax, but what is the point for a desktop ,,,or even an 80" TV for that matter?

More immersion. Curved monitors curve to fit your eye, and thus keep the sides of whatever room your in from being seen while gaming.
