I play Csgo and Rainbow 6 siege and wanted to buy a new monitor as I currently am using a hertz wide screen which I do not really like.

Solution
Unless you are using that 144Hz monitor for production type software, it's not going to do you much good. Especially for gaming on a gtx1060. The 1060 is built for 1080p/60Hz. You can use a 144Hz monitor, but don't expect to see many games at all even coming close to that number. You really need a 1070minimum to get more games that high.

Solution
Exactly. The 1060 will be limited to that genre. Any full fledged games like gta:v, Witcher 3, pubg, etc are going to suffer. You'll end up manually capping vsync/gsync a lot lower, closer to 60Hz, just to get seamless game play, the min/max variances making for some ugly stuttering at times.
