I've recently set up a secondary system in my bedroom for light gaming and 'media consumption'. On a whim, I picked up a pair of speakers at the thrift store for $10. They turned out to be Bluetooth speakers and actually sound OK-ish. But I have to re-pair them every time I reboot, which is a real pain. (Is that normal behavior for Bluetooth speakers?)
Anyway, I was looking for a recommendation for some decent 2.0 computer speakers for about $100. I would prefer wired, since I find that the audio quality is generally better than Bluetooth, and also because I don't enjoy pairing every time I boot up.
I have a pair of Prosonus Eris 3.5 monitors hooked up to my gaming rig in another room. While those sound good, they're way too big for the amount of space I have available. I need something more compact for the bedroom. I've had mixed luck with Bose speakers in the past, and I hate Logitech speakers (too much bass, mids and trebles sound flat and lifeless.)
