Best 24 inch or 27 inch Monitor for Gaming and Watching Movies - $400 Budget

I’m looking for a gaming monitor under $400. It needs to be a 24-inch or 27-inch monitor. I plan on using this monitor for gaming, but also for watching movies. I like the LG 24-GM77 monitor, but is it good for watching movies? If it's not, do you have any other suggestions within my price range?

That lg 27mp77 I already listed is the best in class for that budget mate honestly


It'll be truly great for movies , it'll be decent for gaming.

You're worrying too much about latency & DPI imo for what you're going to he using it for.

It also has pretty decent inbuilt speakers.

No, don't go for a 24 inch gaming monitor at this point. Grab a cheap 27 inch HP 60Hz monitor, because there is no way you will be able to hit 100+ FPS with those specs.

You're worrying too much mate , its an lg , its going to be typical lg build quality which is always decent at worst.

The panel itself is EXACTLY the same one as this model

But has better picture processing, more inputs, better software features like the 4 way split , & 10w speakers.

What type of games do you mainly play??
What the split on use between gaming & movie watching ?? 50/50 or more for gaming with the odd video.

I mainly play Fifa, Rise of tomb Raider, Max Payne , Metal gear solid 5 like games. 60% gaming and 40% movies. Sorry for late reply.
