Hey all,

I have a 4.6 OC on my 6700k and my temps could be better. I didn't hit the silicon lottery so I'm at around 1.38V for my OC and sit around 70-75 degrees under load. Currently have a H80i GT, and my case can fit up to 480mm rad, but I'm looking at the ranges of 240-360 (no variants of 140mm rads).
I've been looking at the corsair 240 models, but I don't see how they would be much of an improvement over the H80i GT in the noise department. Only benefit would be able to run it in push-pull config since I would have 4 fans.
I've seen the swifttech 220-x but I'm not a fan of filling the rad myself. I would like no maintenance on the rads.

What coolers do you guys use and recommend? It's hard to go off "professional" reviews since they pretty much say the same thing about all of the rads. In that case, is there really a difference in performance at the 240-360 level? I'm currently leaning towards a 240 rad.

Kraken x61 is 280mm 🙁

Yes it would fit!
My only concern is that it wouldn't improve on the noise department since they're the same fans.

Well you can replace the fans with Noctua which are quieter. Go here: http://noctua.at/en/
I find the ones that come with H100i reasonably quiet. Get the unit first and replace them if too noisy.

I have the H80i so I have the fans that the Corsair uses. For better temps at my OC it requires some excessive RPM at a 120mm rad. I'm not sure if it's the fans or the 120mm rad that requires the excessive RPM.

If you're at 4.6GHz you should settle for that. Getting a better AIO is going to be at least 80£, and then Noctua fans will add up to 60£. You don't know where you're going to hit the silicon's limitations, but I don't think that it's worth spending an extra 140£ to improve an already very high overclock, which may only have 0.1-0.4GHz left.

Here is a review comparing the H80i and H100i in case you haven't seen it.

With Two fans and a larger radiator, I would have thought the H100i is a good choice.
You control the fans with Corsair link software. I here my pump working and seems louder (more of a hum) than the fans which I don't mind, knowing its working.

Yeah I'm not looking to improve the OC, looking to lower the temperatures. Right now it's on the higher side and with more noise. I'm looking to improve temperatures and reduce noise.
