Bit of a generic question but I'm looking to buy a 27" 1080p monitor for my PC as my 24" Samsung Syncmaster SA300 just doesn't look very good anymore (blacks look more than grey than anything and overall quality is low). What would you suggest I buy?

Thanks!

Asus @1920x1080 144Hz

At 27" I would definitely get one with a higher resolution of 2560x1440

Go with the benQ XL2720TE, 144hz, 1ms.

I have the 24 inch version and it enhanced my gaming experience to a whole new level. No eye strain, rich colors, crystal clear gaming.

It's approximately $275-$300 depending on where you shop. Newegg, amazon, ebay.

It has inch blacks and pretty good whites.

It's a great improvement from the T model.

1080p on a 32" screen looks brilliant imo and its not worth the extra cash to me for a higher resolution. I like playing on ultra and if I go to 1440p I'd inevitably have to lower the settings down quite a lot. I'm thinking of getting the Samsng UE32F5000 and putting it on Game Mode.

Sweet, I'll have a look.
