Best 27" Monitor

I'm looking to buy a 27" monitor in the $250-$500 price range. I was originally deciding between the

or the

BenQ EW2730 (http://www.amazon.com/BenQ-EW2730-27-inch-Widescreen-Monitor/dp/B0053NKZJA)

What do you think? Are these monitors any good or is there a better one that you recommend in this price range?
I know that IPS panel monitors are the best, but I'm just not willing to drop $1000 on a monitor at the moment.

Samsung s27a750D is the best if you are a gamer. its a 120hz TN panel with very good colors.

I use 3 of these and I love them, not exactly 120 refresh but still great picture, quality and price!
