Best 27inch Gaming Monitor for under 300?

So, best 27inch monitor for the buck. I'm really looking to only spend 230ish tops, but if it's really worth it I'll go above that a bit.

I don't see a reason for really gaming over 80fps so any idea's ladies and gents? I could really use your opinions here as I could use some help making up my mind on what to buy.

27" at 1080p is quite low DPI (dot pitch). I really dont recommend it as you really notice the individual pixels.
27" 1440p is quite high DPI. However you need a 980 (or ideally a 980ti) to run 1440p. Also the prices for 32" 1440p arent much more than the 27" and a 32" 1440p monitor is a thing of beauty.

Id suggest going with a good quality Samsung or Dell 16:10 1920 x 1200 24" IPS / PLS monitor.

If you must get 27" 1080p then go LG. They have good, decently priced 27" IPS monitors.
