I have $300 to spend for an upgrade. I need a new graphics card so i sold it for this $300 :3.

I like both AMD and Nvidia. I want at least 4-6GB of Vram. I don't care if it's used or new, as long as it's $300 or less.

Performance: Can do well in DX12 titles. Has about the performance level of either a Gtx 980/970 overclocked/gtx 690.

(Sorry but no RX 480 or GTX 970 suggestions. The price for the 480 is over $300 dollars at the moment and i need a GPU now. And the GTX 970 won't work with GTA 5 because of it's 3.5 GB of vram.)

Thanks!

Well, theres the 1060 but if the price of an RX480 is over 300 then the 1060 likely is also... You could grab a R9 390 but the power draw is nearly double that of a 1060/rx480...

Edit just saw you post you were in US, grab a 1060.

Hmm, not finding much that I would personally say is worth it.
Your best bet is honestly the RX 480, as it beats a 1060 (which can't SLI) in performance, and has a lower MSRP.
What I found crazy was that NCIXUSA had the XFX RX 480 in stock, but at the same price in USD as it was on the NCIX Canada site in CDN
