I have a acer ed322q 31.5 inch monitor had it couple years. Am now looking to getting something new. I mainly use it for browsing web, YouTube, movies. I still want the same size just something better with more of the 4k better quality viewing. Need some opinions

Solution
there are so many options available for certain features, panel type, etc that it is a good idea to do quite a bit of research first.
including going to local electronics and computer stores and checking out what's on display for yourself.

many will claim one option over another is the "best" option when it is all a matter of personal opinion.
IPS vs VA vs TN,
HDR1000 vs just a high DCI-P3 %,
stand options; tilt, swivel, cable routing, etc.

for your situation you may even be better off getting something like a new LG OLED 2160p TV.
my 55" 120Hz LG CX has better image quality than the majority of monitors available at the moment.
but for gaming i still love my 34" 1440p ultra-wide more than any larger 16:9 display.

i would first go to a local store like a Best Buy-type retailer and any local computer stores and see what looks the best to you
then come back with a thread asking for comparisons to similar models or something others feel may be even better.

As far as I know there are 2 good options available atm for a 32" 4k 144hz monitor: https://www.displayninja.com/new-monitors/

I use that site to keep track of new releases, just hit the 'updates' button at the top of the page and it is updated daily. These are gonna run ~$1000 +/-, but that's only for the 144hz capabilities 'gaming capable' tax, not sure if you're hunting for high end or just in general a decent 4k monitor.
