Best 40GB HD

I am buying a very fast computer and I don't want it to lag because of the HD.

What is the best 40GB HD to get?
What is better 7200RPM or 5400RPM?

Go for the IBM Deskstar 75GXP 45 GB HDD. It's the best there is. Here's the link :

And 7200 is better. RPM means - Rotate per minute, so the 7200 RPM is faster than 5400 RPM.

IBM 75GXP drives are the fastest IDE drives you can buy. I have the 46.1GB model, and I love it. if you want anything faster you'll have to get a SCSI drive. Most people find that they are not worth the trouble or expense.
