Best 4K Monitor for Gaming?

Solution
I could imagine that two 970's should be able to handle it. But i think you will be under 60fps, not an expert but i just dabbled a bit..

The gpu market has yet to have a true answer to 4k unless you got a beefy card or a truly amazing sli setup or triple sli. Like i said take what i say with a grain of salt, i want go to 4k too once the market has plenty of 4k displays, that rog is still my choice since you can't run 4k off one card as of yet.
I agree with John, matter of fact i wish i had bought the ROG. I have an asus myself at that res but doesn't have g-sync or 3D. 4k Looks great on paper, but waiting for it to have the features the ROG has. All in all, get 3 ROG's and your at 8k heh.

YEAH thats why i took that , g-sync can give much better gaming performance

got 2 evga gtx 970 acx2.0

Solution

yea but i think two 970s wil handle 4k without tearing?

That's a tough one man. That's what im experiencing on my monitor is this screen tear or motion tear. I think with G-sync that will solve it. If someone with more experience could answer that for u be great. I've only ever bought two monitors in my life, and only recently have gained huge interest in higher res displays and the tech behind amazing ones. That acer looks great, i would look up reviews, and just research youtube and google and i'm sure you won't make the mistake i made. Good luck, and have fun gaming at 4k.
