best 970. GPU.

Iv been getting a gaming pc built for my son's xmas presant but know nothing about pc's. Im in process of looking for a GTX 970 GPU. can anyone advise me on best 970 with budget of £300 wants to play. games like GTA and hardline on ultra so looking for best card for that price but also ive seen a few 780 TI Hall of fame at my budget price but its used would i be bettet off with used 780ti hof or new 970 all advice appreciated. Thanks for reading.

They are 3 of the Best 970's , I own the MSI.
