Best 990FX Motherboard that's also compatable 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin 1866 memory

I'm upgrading my processor from a Athlon II x4 2.9 Ghz to the FX8350 8 Core 4.0 GHz, since my old mobo doesn't support AM3+. I already have 16GB of memory (2 x 8GB 1866) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231528 , and though the old mobo didn't run it it's fastest speeds, I'd really like it if the new one did. I've been reading that people have been having issues using 2 sticks of 1866 speed memory in some of the 990FX, so I'd like to know that the motherboard will do well with the memory.

As far as other details concerning motherboard choice, I'm not huge into overclocking, but my interest is growing, especially with 8 cores and 4 GHz on the way, currently my primary use for the computer is gaming and virtualization.

The Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 and ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 are great boards for their prices. Both of them support 1866 memory and are pretty stable when overclocking. I prefer ASUS motherboards over other brands actually.

Yeah I prefer ASUS as well, any reason not to go with the M5A99FX, or is the sabertooth worth the extra money?

There aren't huge hardware differences between the two. The sabertooth has 2 extra phases tough. So on paper it should overclock a bit better, but not that it makes a huge difference. Other differences are that the sabertooth has some extra ports available(USB3, eSATA, Fan) and logner waranty so it makes it up for the price. If you won't be using all these the M5A99FX R2.0 is great. You won't lose anything either way.
